So with the new album approaching, the Everyday album is being mentioned allot. What is the truth about the Everyday album? Ive heard it was written in like a week? Whats this about it being a "Dave" album and not DMB?

The songs were mostly written by Glen Ballard and Dave. The band was treated like an in studiop band, and didnt really contribute much to the making of Everyday. The songs were also written without the band even being present at the time

Because the process of contsructing the songs for Everyday seemed so haphazard, (which was not the case at all, (they was simply less self-indulgence from the band) people freaked out when they realized that some of the same processes of writing were used. But this time all of the band members got a chance to do what dave did on everyday. I know and trust in the experience and wisdom of the band, and that their musical judgment will not allow haphazard writing or playing to make the final cut on the record.
Forget about the reasons and the treasons we are seeking
Forget about the notion that our emotions can be swept away, kept at bay
Forget about being guilty, we are innocent instead
For soon we will all find our lives swept away

Anybody else want to throw in "their" opinion?

Dale, go search for the interviews and the process of making the album. They should be on Rolling Stone and that way you can get the REAL thoughts behind the album.
