A lot of times he plays it as an outro to Jimi Thing. He hasnt played it since '03 but thats still 5 years after PNP was released.

Its a highlight of D&T shows. I'm sure if dave and tim do another tour they will bring it back.
Forget about the reasons and the treasons we are seeking
Forget about the notion that our emotions can be swept away, kept at bay
Forget about being guilty, we are innocent instead
For soon we will all find our lives swept away

indeed. they've done it on every d&t tour since '96 (up to and including '03), and it hasn't been played full band since '95.

What's really cool, is on the D&T 2-19-99 show he plays Jimi thing with the What will become of me outro->then goes into PnP. Those of you who signed up will not be let down.

for some reason though, i can't transition to the bold chord...

Code: Select all

E:---------------------0----3----3--------------3--
B:-8----8----7----3----0----3----3----2----3----3--
G:-x----x----x----x----x----x----2----2----2----0--
D:-5----x----4----4----2----2----2----2----x----0--
A:-7----7----5----5----2----2--------------x----2--
E:------5---------3------------------------2----3--

E:------5---------3------------------------2----3--
I probably play it wrong, but I play it in a C formation then use my thumb to get the G. I don't know if it should be barred or not.

He uses M, I, R, P respectively down the fretboard.

Do you mean I(G, 3rd fret 6th string), M(D), R(f#), P(D)?

Seems like it would be easier with IMRP, but Dave never does things the easy way. Glad we had this discussion, help lead me in the right direction. The way I was doing it was not only retarded but difficult.
