So here's how this is going to go. I am curious to see a discussion on which songs peope think sound better with D&T vs. DMB,m and the opposite, which songs Dave really needs the whole band there for.
For example, It is obvious that Pig (my favorite dmb song) needs boyd and the band, just D&T it would sound weak.
So, first song i'd like to hear input on:
When The World Ends and What Would You say (if popper sits in with D&T)
lets hear it.

when i was in Europe the whole time i was riding on trains and shit all i did was listen to my ipod and i studied some of the songs and some really do sound better without the band, and some just can't compare. weird.
I think Granny was one of the ones i liked more with D&T, can't remember much though. head hurts

i think you need leroi for DDTW, and dave's vocals just end up being much stronger and more emotional when he performs DDTW with the band live. but i agree with crush, the jam is so full with timmy, all it misses is the little cool bass intro from stephan, but essentially, the song is musically superior with D&T if you ask me.

Warehouse D&T pre 2000 is better than with the band.
Stop time intro sucks.

Come on, Dave's vocals in the passion intro blows anything Butch can do out of the water.

it might be just me, but i feel like one of the best aspect of daves music is the energy and having listened primarily to dmb to start out, i love the energy they create. hearing d&t for any song, to me, sounds empty and weak...
