european tour

Unread post by katie » Mon Dec 27, 2004 6:14 pm

what do you think the odds are that the fellows will be doing this soon?

I'd love to see them in england and amsterdam in some of the smaller venues. Paris would be unreal.

eh, I just don't think they would do a big tour over there. I don't know why, I just don't think so.

Actually there's been rumours that there will be a european tour coming up.

doubt it this year, why tour somewhere else right after an album is released, and not tour in thew country where you have the most fans, also there were talks of a second european tour after everyday, but 9/11 ended that.

Either way, I would be quite surprised if the band toured Europe after severing ties with BMG Europe.

Why is that relevant?

Why tour somewhere that the band has no marketing/promotional campaigns??? I know of one band that only tours in areas that they are played frequently on the radio because they know they will have people show up at their concerts.

Dave's solo tour was a pretty big thing here back in 2001. Tickets were sold out within minutes and the band was going to tour before 9/11 to promote themselves abroad. Why would that suddenly change?

DMB severed their ties with BMG Europe sometime in 2002 I believe. I'll try looking it up on Nancies.
