Unread post by dbapollo » Fri Sep 17, 2004 8:03 pm

First off, this is a great great site, and a great great forum, but it should have an option to search by topic title :p hehe. just a suggestion.

Anyway... as for the topic itself, yeah I wanted to ask - with each of the members of DMB being such great musicians in their own right - what is the best solo you've heard from each of them?

thanks!

Definitly. Stenfan rocks my sox with that badass intro. I like Boyds LS watchtower solo and Leroi's Rapunzel solos.

I think bias would be if I said Carter.

The "redo" version of Boyds solo at Chicago. Love that. I have the real one and it kinda sucks. But the CD version is crazy awsome.

On the Crash album. That's what I meant by in the studio.

other good stuff I just thought of:

Leroi:Jimi Thing, Central Park
Crush intro, studio version
Rapunzel, end, studio version

Boyd:Crush, studio version
Lie In Our Graves, Chicago
Both Jimi Thing solos in Central Park

Dave:Jimi Thing, Central Park scat

Carter:Halloween at the Gorge
Clapton is God
