Dave Matthews on John Mayer action...

...although this may be a fantasy for some of the perv ladies (and guys too, if you play that way), this has nothing to do with THAT. I was wondering what Daven's take on John Mayer is. So many people who listen to one or the other's music go back and forth about Dave and John and blah blah blah. Well, what does Dave say about him? Or has he ever brought this up in an interview? Just curious.

Well, we all know John likes DMB since he covered Lover Lay Down, i dont know if it goes the other way round tho...

Dave definately respects John mayer as a musician and all that but i dont think he thinks that much about john mayer, maybe he should cover NEON

John is a better guitarist, Dave is a better songwriter.

I like them both, but I only like John when he's solo. I can't stand him with the band- just doesn't sound right.
