advice: yea, it's my first dmb concert

Unread post by boy52 » Sun Aug 08, 2004 2:58 am

Hello all, I've been reading up on the boards a lot and gotten to know this community somewhat. So, hi!

I'll be going to my first ever dmb concert at the Home Depot Center in Carson, CA on the 28th of this month. I'm freakin excited. It starts at 5:30, but I was wondering what time should I get there? Each ticket automatically reserves your own seat, but do most of fans come hours earlier? I imagine that some sleep outside the venue doors the night before.

They'll also be playing the night afterwards. Is it worth it to just go for one night, or is going to both a die-hard must?

Thanks for any replies.

hey and first of all...

DMBTabs.com , Welcome to It!

as for the concerts, i usually get there a couple hours early and meet some people. If your venue has 2 nights, might as well go to both if you can get the tickets! 99% of people at DMB concerts are awesome and very friendly, its a great atmosphere.

again, welcome!
-Chris

i'll be at both actually. in my experience (which isn't much for dmb...) i don't get there very early. if i'm interested in teh opener, i'll get there in good time, but if i'm not...i usually either get in my seat during set up for DMB, or as the opener is ending. don't know much about tail gaiting at home depot center. all in all, you'll have a great time. i'm sure.

Cool, thanks for the quick responses Chris and Mikey. I'll seriously consider buyign tickets for the Sunday concert. I checked on Ticketmaster and the only ones available are waaaaaay in the back. https://www.ticketmaster.com/checkout/o ... lwqXYrZ0cg

Hopefully I'll be able to make out their faces on the big tv from where I'm sitting? hahah.

I wish I knew which night they're planning to play Ants. Sigh.
