DMB GORGE Film and DVD Box Set!!!

Unread post by billywestom » Wed Feb 12, 2003 1:01 am

This is from the Nancies.org news page:

Dave Matthews Band intends to release a DVD box set of Gorge concert footage, a long-form video that will play in theaters, and in addition to a "Grace is Gone" video based on Gorge footage, United Entertainment Media's "Creative Planet Communites" reports. All three September 2002 Gorge concerts were recorded on 14 high definition video cameras, capturing over 100 hours of footage. A theatrical release is reportedly planned, with a long-form concert video to play in theaters equipped with high-definition projectors. This news is not particularly surprising, given the unusual symptoms at the performance: the tremendous number of cameras, the helicopter circling overhead, the band performance in the parking lot beforehand, the request for fan-submitted footage, and the Gorge Music Choice concert special, among other things. The DVD box set will be sold by RCA, and is scheduled to be available later on this year.

How about that, going to the theater to see DMB...
I can't believe that we would lie in our graves wondering if we had spent our living days well, and I can't believe that we would lie in our graves dreaming of things that we might have been...
