Great show

Unread post by coyoteguy » Tue Jul 27, 2004 9:40 am

Just got back from the Dave show in Raliegh and it was pretty damn good! He had that "frog in throat thingy" so he couldn't talk but he could damn well sing! The show was great and I thought it was a lot better than last year's show. They did an awesome job with Crush and they even played 41 and added a bit of Everyday in there somehow! Out of his new songs, I think Joy Ride is the best! Just thought I would let you guys know. The show was the best.

I have to concur. It was my 35th show & proved to be a great night. The setlist was perfect except for Satellite. I have heard that song way too many times and would have loved Cry Freedom instead.

Granny, Stone, Fool to Think, Help Myself, Ants, Tripping Billies, Joyride, Crush, Ryhme & Reason, Too Much, & #41. Yes #41.... Ended with evryday tease.

Not only was it a great setlist but from the time I got there I had a great time. The Parking lot was very chill and cops were real cool. The people around me were warehouse so it was a good crowd.

And the 3 beautiful girls behind me kept rolling joints throughout the show. The night was truly Great. Im still amazed by how the crowd reated!! No fights, no meatheads, lots of energy....

I was at the VA Beach show on Friday (4th row) & was very dissapointed with the setlist except for the Everyday encore which I thought was fantastic (despite other peoples opinions) I would hope he encored with that some more in the future.

#41... Im so jealous!!! I think my show (6/27) was the best :D WWYS, Two Step, DIDO, Recently AND Jimi Thing, which was totally amazing. Dave took a huge solo and scat in Jimi.

Yeah DropD, the everyday outro was amazing. Apparently when dave and the others left boyd on stage alone it wasn't planned at all.

I really liked joy ride. Which is the kinda heavy song, "sugar will" or "hello again"? I think I actually like the new really rock song the most.

My new favorite...Hello Again. I liked Joy Ride but it's typical DMB whereas Hello Again is more country based with a hint of two step.

Question for ya'll? Whay does everybody liek to hear Satellite? Thats usually my piss song!
