I really haven't seen violence in a DMB show.. i usually hit the PA shows and really don't have to put up with much except for the usual drunken idiots of both genders.. I did watch a girl try to run from security to get in the front rows.. ( i was in 9th row .. 6-27-04 while everyone around me smoked weed

) But why do these people show up to ruin other people's fun? Do guys think they're gonna get laid at a concert? and vice versa.. i saw a girl about 16 or 17 .. with her tits practically hanging out.. not that i'm complaining

but after each year it seems like i'm going to an N'sync concert =(

yeah i don't touch the stuff - a friend of mine was sippin everyones beer and takin hits from some random guy - i had no idea about him doin it till last nights show
sometime its funny to see the drunken people dance, or hear what they say, but sometimes its just not cool, couple people from my group got bottles thrown at them and stuff
my theory is you don't need it to have a great time

The one thing I do not like about dmb shows is that there is always somoene who is on something or drinking something (or a tennie bopper) that gets in the way of me enjoying the music. The first show was bad with drunk and high people, the second was with teeny boppers, the most recent, I lucked out and we got good people around us.

Yeah, its all about who's around you. And if you don't do any of that stuff then you shouldn't be around people who do, although that can be hard at times.

Watch out..I started a thread Early 2003 showing my disgust with the "new" type of fan. Do I need to explain what that is?
I was so fed up with the new type of fans DMB has attracted compared to the mid-late 90's crowd. I believe it is a direct result of DMB moving more into the mainstream media which overtly attracts more of a fan base (which is less desirable to me)
To any of you out there. Let me & the other who love DMB enjoy the show without any of your childish antics. Go to the Lawn section -- run, fight, scream, and do whatever else you shoulnd't do while being at a concert.

I went to the 6/27 show this year in Pittsburgh at Star Lake. My girl and I were in the lawn area and there were 5 people within 3 feet of us who were smoking weed like FIENDS. The saddest thing: one of them was pregnant, no kidding. And another guy was laying on the ground semi-passed out but yet still hittin' it hard. We would've moved, but we had great seats for the lawn. And no, neither of us ever touch the stuff. Dont even get me started on the drunk people...
Dont get me wrong, though, I LOVE THE MUSIC and we HAD A GREAT TIME!!!
