Is Bonaroo worth downloading?

Unread post by Davy28 » Thu Jul 22, 2004 12:28 pm

After going to their show, I always hoped D&F would do a live release, and now that they have I wanted to know if bonaroo is worth downloading because it looks like a sick setlist (they have both Oh and bathtub gin which weren't played at key arena as well as a full band nancies, not to mention a twenty minute thank you) for all you dudes and ladies out there who have it, is it worth the 13 bucks?

The only thing I've a tad peeved about is they don't have american tune and baby which were both tearjerkers live and sweet up and down, a song I love and always wanted to hear D&F.

actually i downloaded the concert of bttree.db, before it was anounced for pay download, like 4 days after the show. I love it, great versions of stuff, and man that piano intro to stay or leave was excelent.

Now your pushing my buttons. Do they do that cool instrumental intro to dodo?

Once downloaded, does it fit onto two discs like it says? And can you line the tracks up the way its says as well without any gaps?

yeah my copy fits pretty cleanly on two discs... and the lack of SUAD is a bummer though.

the quality of the show is pretty decent. but i hate how they turn the drums down in, what seems like, every live release. when you're actually at the shows, the drums are so loud, and all of the bootlegs have really loud bass drums, but they seem to turn them down. it bothers me a bit on solsburry hill, and hey bulldog. but the show is worth getting i think.

yes, nancies is without the band, and dodo has a very very long intro

Download it from DMB's site. It's deffinately worth it. I was a little sceptical of paying for a downloaded album but the quality is great and the set list is amazing. It fits easily onto two discs and there are no flaws that I've found in my 4 days of listening to the albums. Worth every penny.

Thanks for your help guys. I probably will end up getting the dmb store version so I don't have to deal with a bunch of spyware shit. One of these days.
