Live At Luther College Poll...
So you have to throw away one of the discs of the Live at Luther College album... What do you choose?
I can't believe that we would lie in our graves wondering if we had spent our living days well, and I can't believe that we would lie in our graves dreaming of things that we might have been...

Grey Street would be very interesting with the two of them, and I am anxious to hear a new version of Busted Stuff

i doubt theyll play busted stuff together on this tour coming because the tuning is so different and they usually dont change their guitars much on dave and tim toursbillywestom wrote:Grey Street would be very interesting with the two of them, and I am anxious to hear a new version of Busted Stuff
Everybody always asks me how she's doing. Has she really lost her mind? I said "I couldn't tell you, I've lost mine."

they didn't have to change guitars when they toured before because there were no songs in Bartione tuning or fucked up tuning like for Busted Stuff and You Never Know. They're most likely to be a couple of guitars sitting close by to Dave on this tour.johntherevelator wrote:yeah but when dave and tim go on tour they dont usually change guitars in the middle of a showticohans wrote:You can always have multiple guitars on stage...

grey street is the best song theyve come out with in a long time, it kinda upset me that they didnt bother to put it on folsom field.. all their stuff is better livejohntherevelator wrote:i doubt theyll play busted stuff together on this tour coming because the tuning is so different and they usually dont change their guitars much on dave and tim toursbillywestom wrote:Grey Street would be very interesting with the two of them, and I am anxious to hear a new version of Busted Stuff

I'm really excited to hear which new songs they play. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they don't play a lot of Everyday songs. I don't think they will, for some reason I don't think that album translates well into just 2 guitars. I really just want them to keep it old school...
And the Radio City show seems like it might be a good candidate for a live CD, that's the first thing I thought of when I saw they were stopping there. Hopefully Warehouse will let me go to that.
By the way, I voted to keep the second disc because of Warehouse, Ants, and Say Goodbye.

im sure there has been a time when they have changed guitars, like at the 3/14/99 show, im almost positive dave switched to a 12-string for John the Revelator, and he probably did it when tim played his solo right before that...i could be wrong though
