The crowd was fucking amazing........DMBiewski wrote:the crowd was pretty damn weak for most of the show...i heard "boo"ing and shit and it ruined the vibes for me...sort of sucked but more the most part it was a pretty good show...nice two step and the new songs were pretty on...die trying was cool, haven't heard the new songs yet but i have the new album pre-ordered sooo with that said, to everyone at the ballroom, hope you had fun
The crowd booed because someone threw a CD case onstage and it hit Stefan in the back.Morphius wrote:I thought that I had heard booing as well, but it was just people calling out songs...
Some people thought there was a boo but they were actually asking for Two Step.

If your video skipped around then you just aren't recieving/processing the streaming data fast enough and you're getting out of synch. It probably happened to everyone at least once.

Any news on an at least decent quality tape?

I kind of want to make a thread for this but dont know if its necessary, I just dont want it to get lost in here. Heres a link to a torrent of the whole show: http://bt.etree.org/details.php?id=14169 Brock or whoever started this thread should put a link on the first page and change the title so people know.

No problem, I think we should have one soon after reading the boards at ants. Thats where I got the link for the BT and they said they have the video, but the program records shitty audio so they have to sync it up.rekeen01 wrote:THanks for the link....I cant wait till a video of this concert surfaces

Well here are my thoughts from the show:
1) While this was my first time, this was a VERY "experienced" crowd ... Not a lot of frat boy jagoffs that scored tickets somehow
2) Good god there was soooo much herb there
3) The acoustics there suck monkey nuts ... You pretty much have to be standing dead center of the sound field to even hear WTF Dave's singing
4) The energy from the crowd was amazing
5) I'm really glad I went but from a performance standpoint Central Park was a far superior concert
6) I live in DC ... I got there at 7:30pm and got home at 5am and was up and working by 8am ... And it was totally worth it.
7) I have Listener Supported and Central Park on DVD and CP has spoiled me so badly that when I listen to DMB stuff like the Gorge or even other bands, they have to REALLY kick ass for it to impress me
I'm glad you guys enjoyed it because it was a great night in NYC
