I think thats the general consensus, we dotn hate them theyre just not as good so everyone talks down on them compared to the rest. I dont hate them, I just reach for them a lot less then the others when I wann hear some DMB.carter29 wrote:I am surprised you guys dont like Everyday & busted stuff so bad....they are great albums just not DMB's best. Songs like WTWE, So Right, Space Between, Grey Street, Bartender, Raven, YNK (to name a few) are awesome
American baby is probably a marketing decision to release first because is has radio appeal while still having a dave mathews band feel. It's new stuff, it cant sound excately the same as the old stuff

Well, I guess you could look at it like DMB has so many AMAZING releases the very few releases that are not as AMAZING seem to be less than worthy when in actuality most bands can't even put out one good release, let alone several.
For the record, I love Busted Stuff, I did the first time I heard it. ED took some time to enjoy, but I appreciate ED and what it did for DMB (salvation.)

i personally stick up for the album Everyday. It systemic around here to agree with everybody. If one person with a high post count says they dont like something then the others will follow.carter29 wrote:I am surprised you guys dont like Everyday & busted stuff so bad....they are great albums just not DMB's best. They super cut off Leroi at the end, I liked the sound of the solo though. But man, carter wasn't doing anything behind the kit...thats a disapointment. Dave's vocals and boyd's picking really make the song and with leroi's solo at the end I can see me really liking this song
