Unfortunately at this point I would have to say:
D&T>D&F>DMB
DMB has grown very boring for me and Stand Up still struggles. I actually like Some Devil almost as much as BTCS. I feel with BTCS they came out with so much energy and rarely does that type of energy come out on a studio release. They essentially reinvented themselves from some of their younger more youthful type of sounds and came out with some darker more mature sounds.
Everything since, they have tried to reinvent themselves but I view everything as a step back. Maybe that's part of my problem, I saw LLWS and BTCS as launching pads and music since has been anything but that.

I just watched the video and have no clue what to think. I love fucked up videoes that have no plot that comes out right at you. These kind of videos simply make you think about what the creators are trying to get through as a message. The only problem i find with this video is that i always expect these kind of videos and look for them when i see a band like Tool, not DMB, but hey why not.

Well its not a DMB video, its Dave Matthews video. In my mind, there is a very disctinct difference.cart wrote:I just watched the video and have no clue what to think. wow, i didn't like the video at all. the song however i thought was cool. i appreciate dave's boldness in trying to do different things and take different avenues in music. is the song great? fuck no! but i like dave's vision here. seems like the recording needed more polishing though...i don't know.

It's funny the way the song is marketed - right now it's on the front page of itunes, it was one of the first videos to be released from L@RC. It just doesn't seem like typical single material. I would have thought something like Idea Of You or Sister would have been the more obvious choices for a single DMB management would release. Just seems strange to me.
