a lot of the instruments. especially the drums, sound like they're synthesised. and someone said something about how they were all written before the band got there, and were synthesised.

or is it just the new style?
...who the hell told you ANY of that? Complete bullshit.
When it comes to this new album... Everybody is full of shit. Nobody except for the band & Batson know the truth. Soon we will know!!

I also love smooth rider, that song is gonna kick ass

you think theyll give us clips of all songs eventually through warehouse, or just the first 7 weve already heard.

I've had that "everybody wake up/if you're livin' with your eyes closed" stuck in my head since that first video that came out about the making of the album.

out of those clips, I like smooth rider the best I think. It sounds pretty tight.

i love dreamgirl, i think dave voice sounds great, and the chorus is really uplifting.

i like old dirt hill, but i'm not a big fan of the bass line.. do do do do doo dodododoooo... i hope the outro is dave scatting "can't catch me, can't catch me, can't catch me, ride my bike..." like it was in the video.

I love the guitar part on stand up, i could picture dave playing it live. I hope we don't make up some dumb thing for that song though, like throwing your hands up whenever dave sings "stand up!"

Smooth Rider is badass, i love the groove. I thought the chorus sounded SRV-esque the first time i heard it.

I love Wake Up, but i think the chorus should have more force behind it. It should be more of a wail or with more passion or something, now it sounds a tiny tiny bit whiny. I'm sure it'll be great live though.

Out of My Hands is good too, i'm glad it's an outro though.

I've really learned to like the studio joy ride. it is really organ heavy though. and i'm glad they kept bobblehead jesus.

Oh and i hope since the band feels this is more dance-able music, we'll see a lot more dave jigs.

Uh, none of those mp3 links work.
Forget about the reasons and the treasons we are seeking
Forget about the notion that our emotions can be swept away, kept at bay
Forget about being guilty, we are innocent instead
For soon we will all find our lives swept away
