Gervais on Rosa Parks "she was arrested but then that law was changed- but she didnt stop there, she started sitting in the seats saved for disabled people. unbelavable, she talked to the driver when the bus was in motion- did she have the correct change ready? - did she bollox!"

ive been watching this more, and im really liking it for the most part. my favorite part is the the 33 second part where dave changes it up a little bit with flawless transition. the 1:11 mark, however, is a real rough transition, they gotta smooth that out

Like someone said earlier, it may be a different song with the band. If this is any indication of the new album, i won't be too thrilled for the release. It reminded me of the stand-up tunes in that Dave's percussive guitar that is the foundation for the bands great songs seems to be less involved. With SU and this song, he provides more fills/finger pickings that can easily get lost in the bands sound. like Steffan said, i'm waiting for the next #41 or Last Stop.

I liked the song

I'm excited to hear carter just start jammin' out to Cornbread, and get some sweet bass lines in there as well. I could see Leroi and rawshan having some fun with this one too. I could see it being developed live over the summer and turning into a really great song.

yeah the 1:11 is really rough. The part he transitions to sounds great but it seems like there isn't even a transition.DMBassist52 wrote:ive been watching this more, and im really liking it for the most part. my favorite part is the the 33 second part where dave changes it up a little bit with flawless transition. the 1:11 mark, however, is a real rough transition, they gotta smooth that out

sweeeeet, i like that version a lot better than the 2.23 one. the transition to the slower part is still pretty weak though.Nitro1515 wrote:Here is the video from 2.26

Definitely like this one better as well. Its really not as bad as I originally thought. I'm just glad he wrote a song on his six string acoustic again.DMBassist52 wrote:sweeeeet, i like that version a lot better than the 2.23 one. the transition to the slower part is still pretty weak though.Nitro1515 wrote:Here is the video from 2.26
