I like Everyday, its just my least favorite. I listen to it all the time........
Artists tweak things all the time. They all do it. But the Dave style is very apparent in all of them. So thats why I dont understand why people dont like it.
Maybe its because I didnt start listeneing until after Everyday came out and it has been there ever since I started listening. But I like them all equally, well maybe BTCS least.

HOLY SHIT!! I'm sorry if this is beating a dead horse, but I'm getting to listen to the stream for the first time and this album is weird! I'm not hating it, but this just sounds very odd. My god, Old Dirt Hill is just bizzare.

I posted this over at nancies, so sorry if this is repetative garbage for you...but here's a more formalized opinion that "wow! weird!!" Thought I'd post the same thing here rather than trying to remember what I said

I'm sorry if this is beating a dead horse here (there are 40 pages of this!!), but there is something about this album that gets to me in a very good way. I do think that the songs aren't as complex yes, and that some of the lyrics are kinda weak. But this new sound of theirs is very bold and I also find it beautiful. I appreciate the new direction in experimentation and the odd instrumentation and the pure emotion that Dave sings on here. This album is not their best, but it excites me to see them try something so bold and genre bending (bold and genre-bending for them anyway).
When I listen to SU, I think of Radiohead and the direction they went a few years ago with Kid A. These two bands shouldn't be mentioned in the same sentence as their so different, but RH's radical departure from their alternative sound sparked the same kind of poloarization amongst the fan community there.

Oh, I forgot to tell the new guy that if BTCS isn't you're favorite DMb album you must shoot yourself.
Why don't you follow Rantings lead....

I agree that BTCS is still the best. How could it not be? That album is genious.

My post was in response for all the people claiming BTCS is the BESt album DMB gave us. It's simply opinion based. I think Crash is my favorite.

Agreed. But he wasn't saying "YOU MUST THINK BTCS IS THE BEST ALBUM" he posted a bunch of confused smileys when the kid said that BTCS is the worst, which of course can be his opinion. But he also knew nothing about Everyday.

Ok, now I get it. Sorry for the confused post...I'm a bit high.
me earlier
As am I, while listening to Stand Up...then my fiance and I are gonna get stoned (so I'll be more stoned) and then go watch Hitchhiker's Guide. Man, I just have no motivation for this paper I'm writing.

This goes back a bit furhter than today's post. If you type in Ilovetictacs + BTCS, you will probably get 4,000 results.
