How big are the DMB?

Britney Spears might be on TV more, get more "awards", have more radio play, but is nowhere close to the CD sales and ticket sales that DMB has. Britney Spears could never sell out the Gorge, and DMB does it, 3 nights in a row, every year. No one would ever take the trouble to go to Alpine Valley to see her, but DMB sells out both shows at Alpine EVERY year (just to fill you in, Alpine Valley, in Wisconsin, is out in the middle of nowhere, the parking lot is just a huge grass feild. It's hell parking at getting in and out of there. It takes HOURS to get out of Alpine, and parking is so disorganised when you come in. Also, the walking up and down hills tires you out so easily.

DMB may not sell as many posters as Britney Spears, but she will never match the amount of fans (and even more true dedicated for life fans) of DMB.

I don't know about the CD sales, I think she might be close. Every one of her cd's is multiplatinum, and I think she has more cd's out than DMB. Also keep in mind that her tickets go for almost double what DMB's tickets go for, and she still sells out a lot of places.

liking DMB is kinda like watching porn tons of ppl do it just they dont talk about it much...i thought i was the only DMB fan in my school but ive noticed ppl wearing fire dancer shirts and DMB tour list and stuff, from wat i can tell there are tons of DMB fans its just not the same type of fanbase as boybands and the etc where girls sit around and giggle talking about which DMB member is cutest.

Im pretty sure he means studio CD's, not live. And I checked the RIAA site, DMB has 29 million albums sold...Spears has 28 million. Considering that DMB has more albums collectively than Spears and are only beating her by a million sold, Spears is bigger to the mtv type people. But as said, she could never sell out 3 nights in a row, nor does she have to magnitude of fans like DMB. Im guessing if you took away all girls 16 and younger away from Spears, shed lhave no fans left.
