I think some people may assume that live is instantly a better version, while very true for some songs, there are some better left in the studio.
I like the studio versions of BOWA and Too Much best I think

when boyd plays with guest musicians with the band he doesnt know how to give room for the other persons solo.
Example: 7-13 dmb and trey bayou-- boyd USUALLY solos the whole time, but when TREY is there you dont bloody solo the whole damn time what the hell.. you could tell trey was waiting for when to really rip it up, and tho he did to great stuff.. it wasnt what he could have. Musicians need to communicate, and boyd just bows bows bows and doesnt leave any space in the songs..

i couldn't agree with that more. i think a d&t studio album would be sweet. dave and trey would also be pretty cool i think
As long as Trey didn't sing. :)
I was just listening to dave and trey's version of waste from 2004 bonnaroo. Trey's voice sounds like shit trying to do the high harmonies.

Is it worth requesting tickets for both the friday and saturday MSG shows? I just requested for saturday night, because it's more convenient, but I realized the high chance of getting rejected. So should I just put in a request for friday too? If I get both I can just sell one pair (FOR FACE VALUE OF COURSE) or even go both nights...

Man I always said how you guys were so lucky to see DMB like 4 times a year, I am planning a trip to Toronto to see them with some buddies, it will be so amazing if I go, 27 hour drive away but its as close as they come, this one concert will be the trip of my life. Some people may take for granted that they are actually disapointed by a dmb show

its the released Live at Red Rocks, so id assume its copyrighted...but if you dont have the CD, i would suggest buying it...cuz no DMB fan should be without it....fantastic...kickass seek up, kickass recently/wine water, kickass two step (which goes quickly into BOWA), billies, dido, lld, r&r, 36, ants to finish the set. typical and watchtower to close with the sweet d/t middle. gotta get it
