I should add to that. "Digital" as in recorded to a digital source like DAT or a hard disk or flash recorder. "Analog" like to cassette.

Thanks
Download the appropriate one for your operating system, run the file, right click on the .rar files --> extract to [folder]. They're then mp3's which you can organize in any way you like. Shoot me a PM if you have any problems, Sue.

Edit: Sorry! Can't believe I forgot the link to WinRar http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm

Ive tried downloading this multiple times and all attempts are failures. Could someone give me a step by step instructional on how to download this for a mac?

Try this: http://www.unrarx.com/ It's Mac software for .rar extraction.

I'm at work right now; I'll try and help you out when I get home if someone else (probably Brock) doesn't answer you out by then.

After you download the file, and have Unrarx installed, just Control+Click (or Right Click if you're using one of the new Might Mice) and choose Open With ->

If Unrarx isn't already one of the programs to choose from, go to Other, and then just choose Unrarx from your Applications folder.

That should take care of your problem if I'm not overly stupid on my Mac, hah. If that one isn't working, and nothing seems to be working, I recommend downloading Zipeg. When you install it, it asks you to select from a checklist of file types that it will be the used as the default program for, so you shouldn't even have to worry about doing anything.

Hope that helped some.

ok, sry im being a pain, but i really want this album. i tried the above and still having no idea wat to do. after i get the zip file and extract it, a folder comes onto my desktop with RAR as the title. Open it, and it has: default.sfx, lcense.txt, order.htm, rar, rar.txt, rarfiles.lst, readme.txt, technote.txt, unrar, whatsnew.txt, which one do i extract (or whatever). i notcied someone said something about a .rar file, should i change one of the ones from my list to one of those files?

Ok.

Once you download the UnRarX Zip file, you double-click it and it should automatically unzip the UnRarX Application on your desktop like this:

Image

Once you double-click the UnRarx Application, it should show this window:

Image

By dragging the LostAcoustics.rar file in there, you should see

Image

Then the files will extract to where you had the .rar folder, in my case, the desktop:
