I fell in love with L@LC the first listen. I think that even though those Stand Up songs are better D&T style, they still are what they are and hold it back compared to LC. Just one man's opinion.

yea I do have that and it is really good. That does suffice, but it would be so cool if somehow they have video-taped some of their performances we didn't know about and they planned on releasing them at some point.

Agreed. But I think (and someone already said something like this earlier in the thread) having a DVD of this performance is what's giving it a boost in terms of "attractiveness," for lack of a better word. We like it more than we would if it were audio only.

I'd be willing to bet there's tons of video in the vaults. They could probably release everything we fantasize about if they were so inclined.

I could and still do listen to L@LC from start to finish. RMCH I just grab certain tracks and listen to them.

FWIW, to me, when Dave does a cover he does that song justice. However, when he covered "down by the river" he butchered it. That song makes me cringe.

yea. I would buy it in a second. But I guess they don't think it would make that much money...

then again, maybe if RCMH DVD does really well in terms of sales, they will consider releasing older video footage...

I listened to some of it. It's good, but L@LC is still better just because I like the old songs and don't like the new ones. The Stand Up songs are way more tolerable D&T style though.

I think they should release something along the lines of a D+T Live Trax, although DVDs would be even better. My pick for the next D+T release would be 3.14.1999, when Santana guested and they played John The Revelator and Love of My Life, among other good stuff.
