I like bayou too.

Cornbread sounds like something different. It's not bad...it has a very different ring, more countryish to it. Not old school dmb, thats for sure.

The intro to gravedigger, is very nice...more old school dmb to my point of view. It looks like a classic Dave song which evolves lyric wise and musically wise as the song progresses (not through development, but in the song itself, not sure if this last is clear.)

I agree on the AWAY FROM BATSON thing.

I love to see d&t back toghether, makes me happy. Can't say it enough

I enjoy Gravedigger more now that it has the intro.

How does that work? The song is still the same.

It sets the mood. I didn't much care for gravedigger before, but with the intro, I guess that I "get it" now....I don't know, it's 5 am here, I'm really tired, and this might not make any sense.

This song is so money

I look at the stars
As I wonder this:
"I can see you, but
Can you see me, Lord?"
Shining above me
I can see you
Can you see me, Lord?

I look at the sun
I wonder "God are you there?"
Watching us all lying in despair
I watch the stars
And I wonder, "the Lord
Is he up above, taking care of us all?"
I look at the mountains in a way people do
Were they by the hands of some heavenly kiln
I don't believe
I cannot be strayed
I don't believe that you're watching me there

Am I your dream,
or are you mine, Lord?
Am I your dream,
or are you mine?
Am I your hope,
Your heart and mind, Lord?
Am I your dream,
Or are you mine?

the tune reminds me of the lines from You Never Know:

Lying on the roof counting
The stars that fill the sky I wonder if
Someone in the heavens looking back down on me – I’ll never know
So much space to believe

That intro is something else. I haven't seen this type of music from Dave in awhile
