My favorite of their new ones so far, even though they've all been really good. I see this song being really huge for them as far as the Pop world goes. I'm talking like "Crash into me" huge. It's got that riff that just sticks in your head.

If they play their cards right and don't fuck up like the last time, DMB could make a huge comeback, not only with us loyal fans, but in the pop world as well - which could be good or bad ha. damn teeny boppers

is this song this?:

new song #2: this song is really really good. the chorus parts were slightly different but all ended with "let's run while we can". it almost had the vibe of a really good 90's power ballad. the middle has a really strong section sung completely in 3 part harmony falsettos. the jam at the end went back into the chorus a couple times, with some really strong harmonies. rashawn laid most of the bulk of the horns and roi went back and forth between soprano sax and pennywhistle.

Sitting on my front stairs
Soon I think the way I’m thinking
I’m a lost soul babe
Know that I’ve lost my way
Every time you walk by me babe
You make me feel like a kid
So I’m not gonna pull your hair

I fall so hard inside the idea of you
It’s why with you, I can say what I mean
I would stay but I believe
God gave me a night here
I fall so hard inside the idea of you

Oh look at you go again
Got my feet off the train
Must stop the soul
Oh life’s with you

I can’t get you up inside my ledge
To wash my mouth out again and again
For what’s going through my head
Swear my soul fell over there
I’m not going to kick you in your shins

I fall so hard inside the idea of you
It’s why with you, I can say what I mean
I would stay but I believe
God gave me a night here
I fall so hard inside the idea of you

Move along
It’s okay
First stop
Along my train
Go anywhere
If we got
Some of that
Sweet thing
going

And I want kings and queens
On the road by you

But only
If all I
Oh, oh, oh

I fall so hard inside the idea of you
It’s why with you, I can say what I mean
I would stay but I believe
God gave me a night here
I fall so hard inside the idea of you

Man, what a kick ass groove. I'm excited about the prospect of hearing this live at Alpine hopefully.

as an aside we should really stick to one thread to discuss this song, i say lock this one and use the other one. Other wise its just confusing
