I agree. That's actually probably one of my favorites from the LWSessions. God that album is amazing. That whole album has such a cool vibe to it... almost an eerie feeling to it.
i like it, but it always reminds me of creep by radiohead (around 4:14 and the other times like it)
I'll have to listen again cuz I didnt hear any Creep...but do you mean the quieter part? I suppose I could see that.
around 4:14 theres a major chord, then another major chord up two steps i think - sounds like a couple chords from creep IMO

Yeah I can hear the progression, but I really wouldn't have unless you pointed it out, doesn't ruin it for me :D
its only a couple chords, i wouldn't say it ruins it for me, its a cool song

I like Smooth Rider D&T style. Such a good sound. A real laid back, lazy blues feel to it. Those guys can make anything sound good.
