I'm hoping for the band to cover a song that doesn't suck (time of the season, sweet caroline) in the near future. Rember the days when they would cover something, and make it there own, and awesome.... the maker, watchtower, exodus.

i like it on the florida download, i think its a good song.

not great but it has become a scape goat for any and every less than perfect song they ever played.

i also like the idea of a bass driven song, there are some nice boyd lines also.

Its an amazing song. No guitar or horn parts and some honest straight forward lyrics instead of this "look for the hidden meaning" crap that he has written for years is exactly the direction I want to see this band go in. "I burn like a junkie for you baby!" I absolutely love that line.

I dig Time of The Season, too, and I liked the Sweet Caroline cover, too, very fun and laid-back. You could tell Dave had some fun with that one.

And covering the Doors? No. I would not want to see that. Nobody should do the Doors but the Doors.

Yeah the radio guy had a version where dave covered "Riders on the Storm". It wasn't any good, im pretty sure i said leave it to the Doors or something.
