Did Dave Matthews make Tim Reynolds famous?

Yes, although he is a great guitarist Tim would not have gone very far/as far without the song writing talent that is Dave Matthews

No, Tim Reynolds is far talented enough to have made it on his own, and was popular long before he ever teamed up with Dave

I voted "Who's Tim Reynolds," because frankly, I don't think he's really famous yet.

He has the talent to blow up independently, though.

At least he's making a living so we can continue to hear his fantastic self. :)

That emoticon gives me the creeps . . .

he doesn't really want to be famous, he says so in some interviews. He likes to keep in connection with his fans and it's hard when you have thousands of people at a concert instead of his dozens at a restaurant

As far as I understand it Dave Matthews would still be bartending at Millers if Tim hadn't asked him to come up and play during one of his shows (Tim's that is) Dave was writing songs but never played out once until that. So I think Dave wouldn't have made it very far if it weren't for Tim. On the other hand most people who aren't huge Dave fans don't have a clue who Tim is so my vote is for who's Tim Reynolds! I'm not sure if this is all facts so I can be wwwaaay off until I can back it up from a source
