I'm pretty split. Although Luther was one of the albums that really got me into Dave's music, and obviously dropped my jaw at Tim's playing, I think Radio City is really good album. Luther will always have the edge of better material, because the old songs are simply better, but the quality, both of the recording, dvd, and Dave's voice on Radio City are unbelievable. I saw D&T in Oxford at the start of the tour and the first thing I remember thinking was holy shit dave's voice sounds incredible.

Plus, as mentioned, the Radio City set features songs that have a different feel than we've heard before, like ODH and OOMH.

They're both amazing.

I thought dave's voice was a little scratchy in parts on Radio City, but there's nothing like young dave's voice.

Ever since Some Devil he's been using that voice all the time. I'm assuming it's to save his vocal chords from stress since he's probably not gonna hit the higher notes like he used to.

um it's the best Dave Matthews related thing you will buy/download illegally/wahtever...

It's essential, really. Like having the Lillywhite sessions for the whole band.

There's a 3-disc Lost Acoustics compilation floating around the interwebs somewhere. All D&T stuff. I can't remember all what's on there, but I'm sure there are some gems.

I need to give RCMH a little while longer. Think of how long L@LC was with us.
