I don't know if anyone else here read the Rolling Stone article before Stand Up came out talking about their experience in the studio with Batson, but there were some very revealing details in that story. When the journalist came to the studio, he commented that there were joints being passed around, as well as mentioning a pitcher of mushroom tea that was in the fridge in the studio. It sounds like they were having quite the party with Batson. I swear that Boyd and Dave seem high as hell on the DVD side of Stand Up, when Dave is talking about Boyd's great line in American Baby (watch it again and you will know what I mean).
