nope. you just get a torrent program ie. utorrent from download.com and then you download the torrents and they run. the only stipulation is that they ask that you keep the files on your torrent after you get done so people can upload from you. in the trading depot forum there are threads about how to make bit torrent work.justanotherfan wrote:I think it would be great to be able to download Dave shows.....BUT.....I seem to be not so bright at trying to do this.
Also...do you need to have stuff to trade when you download........help....I am so confused!

there's the bit torrent thread. you just want to get the program, forward a port on your router if you have one get the torrent and begin.

No, i have a drinking problem not a dave show collecting problemNitro1515 wrote:dmfollower a few posts up said he just cracked the 900 show mark so, no, I dont have a problemThe Scarlet Pimpernel wrote:hofdaddy wrote:you have a problemNitro1515 wrote:150+

Collecting shows does take up a lot of time but to be able to wake up everymoring and choose what year and tour i want to listen to is pretty satisfying. Plus, if i ever hear of a great song or show chances are i might have it so i can always get an ear in stuff like that.
I really was driven to collecting more avidly when i found this guy(link was posted here i think): errnine.com
One of these days i'll probably start sharing them but i'm still collecting

I've got 52 shows from the 2000 tour. I think i'm about 20-25 shows give or take short of having the whole tour.
I think the only tours that i have complete are 2004, 2005 and 2006. I'm pretty close on having most of the 97' tour as well.

Sweet. 2000 is my favorite tour, I would love to have the whole thing and maybe '98 as well.dmfollower wrote:I've got 52 shows from the 2000 tour. I think i'm about 20-25 shows give or take short of having the whole tour.

Yeah, the 98' tour has been really hard to find. I only have 34 recordings. Its mind boggling how many years dmb has gone touring and just how many shows they've actually played. Thats why i didn't take it soo badly when daves voice started going out, this tour especially.

Same here, and I listen to about 0 of them. For a while it was just a hobby to collect audio shows and DVD's. Now they all just sit in a box.wkpggrvn2001 wrote:20 or more if it was an option

It is amazing how they can consistently put on amazing shows (even if the songs aren't what you want!). Incredible musicians - all of 'em!dmfollower wrote:Yeah, the 98' tour has been really hard to find. I only have 34 recordings.
