I'm not exactly sure, but I think many were upset with how dmbfan came off when he first started posting here a while back. He made many requests for shows/specific tunes, and was pretty persistent in his asking. Then, when others (I believe it was check and wkpjajvejhavgvn, probably more) explained why he wasn't getting a response because he was new and hadn't contributed much of anything, he got upset. This led to flaming and everybody in general thinking dmbfan a douche. That's why wkpalkjgvj;n responded the way he did in the first post, and consequently, everybody else throughout the thread.

i do think that the boards often have a negative attitude that must go, its childish.
