As the resident car salesman here, let me mention that some companies are trying to issue cars that can run on the E85 (ethenol) fuel. The new Tahoe for example, will run on only 4 or 8 cylinders under certain conditions and is also capable of running on E85. So, even with a regular gas car you'd be ok with some of the newer stuff. And whoever mentioned that hybrids don't save money is correct. You'd have to own one for about 10-12 years in order to save the cost of gas. There's quite a bit of smug that's making its way to Boise believe it or not.
