I did a search for mescaline because I've never heard of it ... realized it was psychoactive drug or whatever. Anyway how could you give a concert on that? I did shrooms once and tweeked out, I couldn't imagine putting on a show on physcoactive drugs.

ya, you guys have never done mescaline? I thought it was just as widely used as alcohol. At least, thats what it is like here in Florida. People just eat it up on the street and sing songs.

im listening to the D&T 9-24-1995 show and dave and tim were late and dave says they were having a really rough day so they smoked a fatty just before they got htere.

I don't see why that wouldn't get him in trouble. It seems like at least one cop would be at a bar and hear him talk about that.

its not illegal to smoke a fatty. a cop could give less of a shit if someone performing infront of a large crowd smoked a joint on his way to the venue.

I agree, police aren't going to barge up on the stage at MSG and arrest him, but it just seems that such high profile characters would be watched more closely.

I would say you guys who don't think he gets high before a show are being a little naive. Do you actually pay attention at the shows, or have ever been around a stoner? I get high everyday(I mean all day too) and people can't tell. I've always though he took a hit of acid before shows, but mescline would be less intense.

i doubt dave does any drugs before the shows these days...oh without a doubt he probably dabbled with a lot of drugs when he was younger writing the songs we all love today..but he just has a very eccentric personality that's why everyone thinks he still does.

Dave just called me all messed up! he was going on and on about how trippy his guitar looks and how fast his hands look when he's playing. He also said that Leroy makes a very ugly woman.
