Thank you so much for the video. I've definately never seen it and very much looking forward to it. And another thanks to everyone, I know I'm not a very vocal person on this site (as far as posting goes), but I am constantly reading every post and always excited to read new discussions. Hell because of you all, I know more about the DMB world than the real world, and I wouldn't change it for a thing. Thanks again everyone for everything.

what is wicked the musical like.....?
i was stuck between that and the producers, went for the producers but apparently its the most visually impressive thing for ages.
Gervais on Rosa Parks "she was arrested but then that law was changed- but she didnt stop there, she started sitting in the seats saved for disabled people. unbelavable, she talked to the driver when the bus was in motion- did she have the correct change ready? - did she bollox!"

what wicked? ya its amazingly done. all the chorography, and the stage. just like all the music, i really love it. i like the story in the book a whole lot better, but from the book to musical seems impossible so they had to change pretty much everything for it to work.

Okay, something I've been wondering since I originally saw this on MTV back in 1998:

What is the "Chinese Thing" that Dave is opening up before the one commecial break? Where he says "Ahh...the (something)..this Chinese thing. Uh, these are condoms. They're a little tight on me." I've wondered what that actually is. And what he calls them that I just can't decehiper.

I have scoured the net for answer to this question and have not found an answer, so I figured I would finally ask it in this thread.

I think the most important line in the whole thing is when Dave says, "There is a bit of frustration with each other and there is a bit of adoration and that makes all the energy." I think thats what is missing from their past few albums. They are all so afraid of getting pissed off with one another again and working to fight through it to make some truly thoughtful music that they are just trying to make things as quick and painless in the studio as possible to get it over and done with.
