it's not a question of being too good for it, it's the fact that it would not be the first time someone posted a virus like this saying it was a show because some ppl. pissed the person off on the bords and he was trying to get back at them... But thanks for the show, that was nice of you.

I doubt anyone on these boards has the ability to send a virus to another users machine. Anyway, MattinBeloit was saying that it happened previously, which is not the case.

I agree with you completely. The fact that he would even say it, however, tells me that he either a) intended to scare someone, in which case he's an idiot because that's the most ridiculous threat ever, or b) thought he could actually do it, which means he knows a lot more about computers than his typing skills let on.

Either way, he was doing it to stir something up. I can threaten to kill someone and get criminally charged for it...in principle, this is no different.

music files cant contain viruses.
video files cannot contain viruses.

even if he uploaded an executable with a virus in it and somebody downloaded it, then they would have to be completely retarded and actually open the exe file.

this kid is just a typical little kid on the internet, not worth making a fuss over.
