I was quite snobbish when I first was approached with "have you heard Dave Matthews Band?"

I'm proud to say that I admitted my ignorance, and actually gave DMB a listen and the band and especially Dave' s voice have captivated and entertained me since.

well I just wanted to know how he kept in tune constantly vocally, I know he has an ear piece and all that but still
and all the little ants are marching..

i like him too, but he cant stay in tune w/ that voice though...

At the show at the Tabernacle in Atlanta, GA 4/21/98, Dave started playing Crush, and about a minute into it aborted the song because his guitar was out of tune. This has to be one of many instances.

Anyone who has the Videos 94-99 DVD, watch towards the end of Too Much, he's got a broken string. It's still on the guitar, it's not hanging down, but it looks very loose.
