I was quite snobbish when I first was approached with "have you heard Dave Matthews Band?"i am sam2 wrote:i actually said the same thing the first time i heard themc_tietze wrote:It's funny because the no. 1 reason people don't like DMB, when I personally ask them is because they can't stand Dave's voice.
I'm proud to say that I admitted my ignorance, and actually gave DMB a listen and the band and especially Dave' s voice have captivated and entertained me since.

At the show at the Tabernacle in Atlanta, GA 4/21/98, Dave started playing Crush, and about a minute into it aborted the song because his guitar was out of tune. This has to be one of many instances.bassman462 wrote:all guitarist or most always stay in tune the whole time cause they have millions of them backstage that they can change any moment they want, if daves guitar went out of tune and he really wanted a new one he could stop the song switch guitars then start again.
Anyone who has the Videos 94-99 DVD, watch towards the end of Too Much, he's got a broken string. It's still on the guitar, it's not hanging down, but it looks very loose.ryanjasonake wrote:on the george DVD when they are playing Trippin Billies when it ends you can see a string hanging down.
