listening now...Robert Randolph is just insane...I saw him open for Clapton last year from 3rd row center...he was just nuts...I got his thumbpick...twas cool...he came out for Sunshine of Your Love and Got My Mojo Working...just nuts...ok, they're kicking into the song...Clapton jokes about Randolph being the reincarnation of Robert Johnson...he thinks he's the next great thing...I mean, seriously, if you haven't seen that cat, make an effort, b/c he's just amazing. Hmm, they're not too good at playing this song live yet...it's just kinda lacking where it needs to be explosive...when it branches off into that other part where it all walks down...that part needs to be way heavier...Stefan and Carter need to rework what they're doing and rock it out a bit heavier...ok, jam time...there goes Robert...man...he's just nuts...although I'm still not incredibly impressed with what I'm hearing here especially on whole. There still seems to be a fairly big musical hole there...the thing about when he played w/ Clapton is that you have two absolutely great musicians pushing each other to heights that were almost incomprehensible...the licks those guys were trading was one of the most insane things I've ever seen in my life...Clapton was just insane...it was like Cream all over again and some...so I'm comparing it a lot w/ that and it's just not hitting it so much. Eh...so better than the others b/c Robert is just the man, but I think DMB needs to go back to the drawing board w/ the live arrangement of this...

I've had Unclassified for about a year and liked it, but after seeing them open for DMB twice this year, my love for these guys go through the roof. In Columbus Randolph and the drummer got up and switched instruments in the middle of the song. Then the bassist got in and they all altranated instruments. It was incredible because they were all pretty damn good at a variety of instruments. A very talented group indeed.

No its cocaine. I listened to the Sirius radio interview where Dave explained what the song was all about. Apparently when he was filming Winn Dixie down south he was driving to the set with one of the producers and she told him a story about these two young boys she found dead on the side of the road one day. Apparently they were killed because they couldn't pay off their cocaine debts they had to some drugs dealers. Dave goes into more detail about it in the interview, but thats the gist of it.

that interview is so great, except the dude interviewing was a douche imo, kind of as to be expected

So I can remember the experience.

I travel a few hours, spend all this money, have a lot of fun, but cant remember anything about the concerts most of the time.
