I thought the song was ok at first as well, but now I like it quite a bit. I'm not one of those that think that whatever Dave shits out is good shit, but American Baby is a pretty decent song in my book. It's surely a departure from their earliest stuff, but it's not like Everyday where Dave was the only one really doing anything. I'm very excited to see what the rest of the album holds for us and a bit nervous at the same time.

All right Im fed up with you and the gay factor. I don't know if you are gay or not but you can NOT tell people to stop writing Fag. . Two of my closest friends are Gay they use the word FAG more than anybody I know. If you are gay apparently you aren't comfortable in your own skin to recognize who you are. Fag, Queer, Dyke are simply just slang terms to identify a homosexual & unfortunately they have a negative meaning attached to them. But I think it's about time you grow up and accept that fact or I will make you a pair of headphones so you can be shielded from the world's "bad words".

yea, He said he doesnt cuss unless he really feels compeled. Well, he really fucked it up when choosing the alternatives. "Go suck an egg" would most likely get your ass beaten.

And I am sick of people using Gay and Fag freely as an insult. I am bi, and it insults and hurts me. I come on the boards to help people with dmb and have a good time, not to see negative terms about my sexuatliy flaunted around. Face the facts people, it hurts me. All I ask is those two words are not used like that. Why does it have to be such a big deal!!! Just don't use those two words like that! I agree with ranting-- im not saying to NEVER EVER use it and think about it at all times-- but realize that no matter what you do -- it has a negative connotation, just like nigger/cracker/spic/chink/..etc
Its a little hurtful when you use it when you are calling someone stupid and you say "Thats gay" because like jelly said-- its slang for homosexual and your putting down a whole society without realizing it.
Little things like that is what is stopping gays/lesbians from feeling equal with everyone else.
If it wasnt meant to be offensive, why did people do stuff like this?

If you dont realize why this word hurts others-- you have a little bit of a problem.
When people protested blacks, did their posters not say "nigger?"

Anyway, I have never heard anybody on here insult a gay person. If they did I would most likely be there to defend the person who was insulted.

I come here as well to give advice, let people download my videos, offer BnP's/Trades. I usually get flamed once a day and on top of that they say I look like Lyle Lovett. (which I dont)

Does it bother me, Hell no.
