i agree. i can REALLY see them stopping very soon. especially if this album blows, like i think it might. i'm really hoping for something good. I'M REALLY HOPING FOR SOMETHING GOOD!!!

but the fact still remains that they've been going downhill for a while now, and its all just a matter of them picking up or continuing their fall.

From Vic's website: "In 1988, Victor moved to Nashville and was immediately recruited by blues and soul singer Jonell Mosser. The following year he joined New Grass Revival's banjo ace Béla Fleck, who hired him and his brother, known as Future Man, to play in a jazz band for a Lonesome Pine Special TV show. The two brothers became the rhythm section and with Howard Levy on keyboards and harmonica. The Flecktones were born."

Josh, this is twice I've had to correct you since you got back. Maybe you should just take your ass back to the evil that is Alabama. War Eagle!

my opinion is that his opinion sucks :-p

and seriously, step back, and look at it, it's a shitty opinion. anyone who knows anything knows that carter would not fit with the flecktones, vic and futch are the tightest rhythm section on the planet right now. two TOTALLY different things we are talking.

yeah, the flecktones are so unique that a lot of musicians would have difficulty blending in with them, and sound good.
