hey miguel. i'm pretty sure this is you at least...and the london thing kind of gives it away...sorry, i've been out of it. anyway, long time no talk to. i see you don't come around as often as you used to, and that's cool. i kind of see why. anyway, i've always respected your opinion a lot when it comes to music so i wondered if you would give my song a listen. if not it's cool, but if you would, i would greatly appreciate it. it's called Paper Idols. Perhaps you may mean: "Do you mean You're not allowed to post anymore?" It is also possible, you meant to put a full sentence instead of a single word after that question. Whoo correcting people over the Internet is a hoot. I will stop now.jeffro wrote:Do you mean "You're not allowed to post anymore." Perhaps?filmdude100cms wrote:^your not allowed to talk anymore

I have a good memory for these sort of things. Somethings I can never remember. Some things, though, I will remember til I die. Stuff about DMB, John Lennon, and Monty Python, they just stay with me. I can recite the Dead Parrot sketch or the Bruce sketch on the spot. It's strange. Also that I can remember how to play 85 % of dmb songs right off the top of my head.jrbleiguy wrote:just the fact that you know so damn much about dave and the band... i guess that just goes with time and experience. this is me being "new" to dave, hope you enjoyed.Ranting Thespian wrote:jrbleiguy wrote: you scare me...

Except the word 'perhaps' in that context can stand alone. It's dialogue because it's conversational. And even if it wasn't, the greatest writers have been breaking any sort of rule regarding it for years, just like use a conjunction at the beginning of sentence. And, in light of all this (like that conjunction?), the only thing wrong with his comment is the absence of a comma after the word 'mean'.deceptivehero wrote:Perhaps you may mean: "Do you mean You're not allowed to post anymore?"
