Just heard a commerical for this on the radio. And the fuckers didnt even mention DMB. "There is an anti-bush concert series going on, it will feature John Fogerty, Bruce Springsteen, Pearl Jam, Dixie Chicks and other bands" or something like that, bastards

Just read an article in Clevelands Plain Dealer talking about how DMB is playing in Dayton, OH for Kerry, sounds cool.

Um, Dave and Boyd were speaking on behalf of the WHOLE band. The WHOLE band is doing it. They already performed for Kerry, once. Also DMB, expecially Dave, has been outspoken about Bush for a long time, and the band is with him.

He isn't telling us who to vote for, but encouraging us to vote for Kerry, and giving reasons, and leaving it up to us. They are also not trying to have anyone blindly follow them, they give out tons of info.

Some say they can't voice their opinions at a concert. It's their show, their concert, and we owe them more than we can ever pay for their music. Also, he has the freedom to voice at concerts like anyone else would if they were there. Plus, Dave voices out things at Farm Aid and Bridge School Benifit, both involve politics. Boyd has performed at a few democratic conventions before.

Also, almost no musician can compare to the musician who is loved by millions and was outspoken about politics since the mid 60s. Might we say John Lennon? He spoke out against so many things, and people followed him, and I agree with almost everything he said. But, not blidnly, I have researched and got info

DMB is in on it, everyone one of them, and they have their right to voice, and they want people to look before they vote, not just do because they say so.

Naw, but seriously even celebrities are alloud to voice their opinions sometimes. I don't know I guess its just me not carring one way or another, but I think its kinda cool that a group of bands got together and stood up for something they believe. And its not like Dave makes all his concerts political agendas.

I hope everyone is aware that this concert is being put on by moveon.org's Vote For Change. CHANGE...get it?

So for all the stuff they gave us, all the music, all the love, all the teamwork, the variety, the low priced tickets at shows, the free tape trading, now selling shows online, and never selling out, they need to give us more? So if Dave plays too short of a set for our liking, we have the right to grab him by the neck and drag him back on stage because he hasn't done what we want, they owe us?
