I can't believe no JTR or Dreaming Tree either night in Charlottesville ... very surprising and dissapointing.

Or Last Stop, but I think the worst part is that they repeated Bayou and Hunger. This was not an album tour, they have enough songs in their catalog that there should not be repeats on a two night stand.

They play them because they like them. So sue them.

i wonder if they dont like playing dreaming tree, last stop, and other "rarities," and they just play them sparingly to appease the fans.

I think they like them, but I think it would be tough to pull out a dreaming tree every night. Last Stop...cant say the same for that, that would be awesome if they did. Hunger has a lot more ENERGYZER!@!!! then dreaming tree, and personally...I can only play so many slow songs, no matter how deep they are...Id just rather be up and jumping

The 6/10 Shotgun lyrics need to be incorporated into the new versions

Was that the first one?

If so, I agree. I think those were the most complete and consistent lyrics throughout the song. I liked the line "a barrel for each of us" and a few other good lines, but I enjoyed the SONG much more in the first version

Yeah that was the first one. I do like some lines here and there from the later versions but the overall story that the first version told was excellent.

I still maintain that the first Idea of You and the first Shotgun are the best. I do really like the "what has become of us..." intro for shotgun though.

That first IOY is definitely the best, the song sounded so much more alive. And at the 1:20 mark of the 6.10 Shotgun when Leroi and Rashawn come in is still my favorite moment of the tour, its chilling.

I really hope IoY and Shotgun both make the album... for me, it'd be worth buying just for those too. I hope the versions that make it are comparable to these live cuts. And I really hope Shotgun doesn't get chopped. They weren't afraid to have 7 or 8 minute songs on their previous albums, and Shotgun needs to have the intro and outro on it.

I like the lyrics to the first IOY a lot better than the newer versions.

I wish we could let dave know somehow that that's the best version, haha.

What's the third line of the chorus? "Gonna stay, but I....."

Shit, I hadn't heard Kill the King in a long time, but I'm listening to the first version now. I want this on the album too.

Idea of You
Shotgun
Break Free
Kill the King

= an album worth buying, to me.
