The first half of Everyday is really good, imo.

Also, the few songs I like off of Stand Up I like better than the few songs (or, in reality, parts of songs) that I like on Big Whiskey.

The songs I would listen to on Stand Up-
American Baby Intro
American Baby
Hello Again (though not a great version, obviously)
Bayou (sort of)
Stolen Away

The parts I like on Big Whiskey-
The chorus of Shake Me Like a Monkey
The verse of Funny the Way It Is

I think books like that usually contain both tab and standard notation.

Hmm. I can't do ABI. It's three or four notes + dave screaming. Not a song. American Baby is pretty good in retrospect. I agree about Hello Again. Bayou is decent in my book. I like the groove a lot. I can barely remember what Stolen Away sounds like.

I've always liked American Baby, actually, and ABI is okay. But that's about it on that album. Alligator Pie is a way better swamp rock song than Bayou could ever be.

I just listened to Big Whiskey, and I don't hate it as much as I thought I did. Little Red Bird, Baby Blue, and Dive In are my favorites, but the only song I find myself truly hating is Seven.

I really only feel jaded when I follow a Big Whiskey song with something off the early albums.

Little Red Bird isn't officially on the album, FYI.
