Yeah they were ice towels. They had nothing to do with his voice.GSR wrote:I thought those were ice towels. It was like 4000 degrees, hence why they cut the show short?

Joyride
Song History
Recorded during the Stand Up studio sessions and scrapped from the final album cut. However, it was added on Bonus Companion CD as a B-Side. It can assumed that the song was a late cut from the album because the promotional copies sent to Australia promote the Spring tour there have it added at the end of the disc.
Hello Again
Composer
Dave Matthews Band & Mark Batson
Song History
An uncommon "story" song by the band, Hello Again is an old fashioned first person tale of past murder and the mental anguish that follows. It debuted as one of the "Summer 2004" songs with Crazy Easy, Sugar Will and Joyride and was refered to as New Song #3 on the dmband.com websites. It can assumed that the song was a late addition to the album because the promotional copies sent to Australia promote the Spring tour there have it added on to the end of the disc with Joyride after the album closer, Hunger For the Great Light. Trouble With You was in its place in track 9 after Out of My Hands and before Louisiana Bayou. When the album was finally released several months later, Trouble With You was removed from the album and added to the bonus disc, while a severely and abruptly truncated version of Hello Again took its place. The first few notes of Louisiana Bayou were eliminated to make the segue even more disjointed.

What do you all think about the next dmb live trax seletions. I think they should wait till the new songs are perfected instead of releasing a show that only covers demo songs. Granted they've been playing a lot of older songs, i don't like that there are like four new songs that aren't finished yet. oh well. What do ya'll think?

I may be the first one to say this on the boards, or maybe the only one that thinks it, but I like Can't Stop. Not as how it started, but what it's becomeand still becoming. Lyrics might be shitty, but sometimes overanalyzing lyrics can kill a song. It's got a catchy melody to it and i almost find it more of an interlude than a song.
Anyway, it's grown on me.
