just not a good live song. some songs are weak live and that is one of them.
for a studio song it is ok. and for a soundtrack song it was awesome.

live, it has nothing.
ah right ok, so its not the actual song, but the performance? i can understand that.

the same could be for DDTW but the other way round, i really dont like the studio version yet love it live.
we all have our prefferences. i know a lot of people that hate DDTW live. i love it whichever way oit comes.

but yeah, some songs just dont play out live.
I actually like smooth rider live quite a bit, but studio i hate it.

yeah I like smooth rider liver, especially with dave on his electric and when rashawn is there. however, at Fenway N1 they played that and then stay in the encore, I wanted to blow my head off.

she's finally coming around, but the only song she really likes is the space between.

:(
that was the first song i liked... it almost pains me to admit it now. Central Park and LS were what hooked me.. that and the first concert i saw :D
its a good song. nothign to be bummed on. I got into them because of Ants and hooked when I saw crush solo.

space between aint bad.
well it's not a bad song, it's just that it's the only song she seems to like.

another thing about wayg is has been played so much live. just check the almanac and its been played 212 times since it debuted in 02. that is a shitload of times. and now that they dont play loving wings before it anymore just makes it more lame.

edit: it was 212 times, not 202

I think Dave should start teasing WAYG instead of like #40, and then go into like last stop or #34. This would be way better than teasing something we wanna hear, and then not getting to hear it. Then we would hear the beginning of WAYG and be like shit... lets hit the bathroom, and then ud be walkin and then BAM! Last Stop baby

i wish hed play WAYG as the last song of an encore so i could at least laugh at the irony of him singing where are you going while everyone leaves the venue early....

do you think dave will ever come out with set lyrics for #40.. and play it??? i wouldnt want it to be played every show, but if a full version came out 2 or 3 times a tour it would be soo good

They were messing around in the studio with it this spring, but I doubt he will ever sit down and iron out a solid set of lyrics for it

It's better that way. Otherwise, every version would be too similar.

I agree, I like the looseness of it
