Re:
What you do is you record it slower, then speed it up. Obviously, they played the track much slower and Dave lip synced it, then sped it up to the real songs length afterwards. It creates that jaggy fast thing that you saw. You can do the opposite to create the slow motion feel while having the video still synced to the song.mdel21 wrote:How do they do stop motion like that?

Re: **Big Whiskey and The GrooGrux King** - Out Now
I thought the video was a lot of fun. What I liked about it, if I'm not mistaken, was that i was one long 4 1/2 minute take. That's a long shot without any cuts and it's a long time not to mess up. I wonder how many takes it took.

Re: Re:
Oh yeah, and another reason for the choppiness, digital can add to that if wanted. When you just speed up film, the frames just are shown faster. When you speed up digital film, it takes away frames.bense27 wrote:guitar_frk wrote:What you do is you record it slower, then speed it up. didnt like that video at all to be honest.
The album -
LITHOG by far and away the best track.
Shake me, Dive in, Spaceman follow.
Not getting all the love for Squirm to be honest. I dont mind it, especially when the volume is turned up, maybe i need to hear it live.
I like you ans me. The rest are easy listeners.
Only track i dont listen too on a regular basis is Baby Blue. Doesnt do anything for me, should have stuck with Sister.
Good album, streets ahead of stand up thankfully. LITHOG is up there with the very best stuff they have ever done imo, so just that song alone makes this album worth it. Good job DMB!
