I prefer I did it to EWU. Everyday was the first Dave album i owned, so that album got me into DMB.

I am listening to Everyday for pretty much the first time right now (aside from the radio hits - Space Between, Everyday), and I've gotta say, it's pretty damned good. Compared to other DMB albums it might not be their best, but on an overall music perspective, it's really good.

LAST STOP BABY! Rock out Alpine! Almost had a Stand Up free night too. It's ok, I can dig Smooth Rider live.

Probably been answered before, but it's not hurting anything being asked in this thread. What does JTR stand for? Just the Rain?

John the Revelator. An old folk song first sung by Blind Willie Johnson in the '20s. Dave played a reworked version of the song (called 'John the Revelator') with Tim and Santana. After the D&T tour he played it on, he reworked it into a very similar song but without the "Who's that writing / John the revelator" line in the chorus, changed the name to JTR to reflect the change, and began playing it with the full band. It was recorded for the Lillywhite Sessions, but didn't make it to Busted Stuff and hadn't been played since until this tour.

Yeh it's a great song, I never understood why it didn't make it on busted stuff. Never knew what it stood for though. Thanks

I've got 10 bucks says they end tonight (either the regular set or the encore) with watchtower with stefan's national anthem intro.

Make it 2 bucks, I've gotta buy beer tonight.

I've now heard Where Are You Going at 11 of my 16 full band shows. That's 69% of my shows. I want that song to DIE! When The World Ends can go with it, too. I've heard that shit 10 times, 9 times full band. Arg!

I love Louisianna Bayou, I think it's one of the better ones off of Stand Up. They've really evolved the jam at the end of that song live. It always gets me pumped at a show.

I am really loving "When The World Ends" right now. Very chill groove to it.
