I loved those songs last summer. Saw both at the Gorge and was blown away...especially due to the energy from Joyride.

anyone who watched the dvd, did you notice what dave said? Long time fans won't really be used to the new style, but they'll catch themselves grooving to a song and then they'll realize it. It is definetly a good album. Wouldn't say the best, but I've been listening to it since it came out on VH1's website and I'm definetly hooked on some of the new songs

I just noticed this but, I bought the album a few hours ago and instead of listening to the new album, I'm listening to My Morning Jacket off the iTunes network. Why?

The bonus disc that came with mine has joyride(studio), Trouble with you(studio), recently(7-13-04), crash(7-20-04), and Hello Again(7-29-04)

and the vh1 stream did this album no justice. The mixing is pretty damn sweet on this

I pre-ordered Stand Up with the Warehouse Bonus disc. I'd be happy to help all those who missed out on it or weren't suckered into paying the god-awful shipping like I was.

What's the best way to get it to everyone (or not) in keeping with the board's policies for music distribution?

I was thinking of using yousendit but I've never set one up for myself. I also have space under my domain account but I'm afraid of killing my bandwidth.
If you want to be the popular one at a party, here's a good thing to do: Go up to some people who are talking and laughing and say, "Well, technically that's illegal." It might fit in with what somebody just said. And even if it doesn't, so what, I hate this stupid party.

it's not too bad, but they could've done better. The fact of the matter is though, is this is what the band wants to do. Bands aren't supposed to play stuff just because that's what everyone wants to hear, they are supposed to play what they have fun doing. Let's just say you don't like punk music, would you sit there and play it? Of course not! They are doing what they like. Like dave said though, the fans will start grooving to a song and realize it is a good cd and as he said, will be almost like a rebirth
