yep, with a good set of headphones that whole album is full of little nuances that make the music that much better. tim's work in the "background" on spoon is phenomenal near the very endDavy28 wrote:I just listened to the BTCS version of crush for the first time in eons. Listening to the end jam, I love the way tim is used on electric, but has anyone taken the time to listen to the acoustic guitar he plays in the background? Most people think that the acoustic you hear is the only time dave is audible during that song, but if you crank the song up and really listen to that part, it gets all groovy and improvy as the jam progresses, very un-dave and totally tim. Thats some funky shit he lays down. I know now where all that flemenco slapping stuff he does at the end of the song when it is played D&T is from.

I listened to BTCS with some Bose headphones once, it was quite the experience. There is so much going on in each track, its amazing.wkpggrvn2001 wrote:yep, with a good set of headphones that whole album is full of little nuances that make the music that much better. tim's work in the "background" on spoon is phenomenal near the very endDavy28 wrote:I just listened to the BTCS version of crush for the first time in eons. And throughout the Last stop, not just at the end. He does all this really creepy high stuff that gives the song its edgy edge. Lillywhite really is a recording genius.
