Are you sure that is not an HD28V rather than his signature. I dont see his sig at the end of the fretboard. Not sure?

I was just going to mention that, I thought that his guitar had the sig on the fretboard as well???

Maybe it's an early prototype. Besides that it looks like his guitar.

It looks like the binding around the body is the d-28 style and dave's signature model is based on the d-35 which has a different binding. I may be totally off on this but that is my best guess
